The last post on here was some time in 2012. It is now 2018. My daughter has been married for almost 2 years and has a 4 month old little boy that is my total joy. My son is 4 hours away and still single. (Ladies, he is such a handsome Christian lad with a good job and a very nice apartment!) He will probably kill me for that statement.
I have been having a rather bad flare the last month or so. It has been ups and downs over the last 8 years. Wow! I can't believe how time has passed! Getting older is not for wusses as they say. Technically I have less than 10 years to retire. Some days I wish it were less than that. Hubby and I are diligently working towards getting ourselves set up for our retirement days. I am working on setting up for my farming venture and also helping with hubby's woodworking shop. These are things we both enjoy and I am planning on the both of us having a happy and prosperous golden years. I will be adding more later as I have time.
I have recommended to my daughter to start her own blog. I hope to have a link to it as soon as she gets it set up.
